The Cantero^® brand celebrates a series of factory tours recently conducted by Tabacalera Perdomo where tobacconists were able to experience the entire scope of premium cigar production. Each factory tour group spent three fact-filled days observing the highly systematic, quality-driven processes Tabacalera Perdomo employs at its numerous Nicaraguan plantations, curing facilities and its "El Monstro" cigar production and packaging factory in Esteli.

Cantero^® is comprised of an exacting blend of filler tobaccos grown in the rich, black earth of the Perdomo farm in Esteli; the binder crop is selected from the finest tobaccos yielded in the Condega and Ocatal regions; and the shade-grown wrappers, available in either a tantalizingly savory, caramel-colored "Cuban Café" or an ebony-dark, harmoniously sweet "Maduro", are hand selected from the finest crop grown on Perdomo family plantations in the lush Jalapa Valley. Combined, they offer a distinctive combination of bold, full-bodied complexity blended with a smooth and spicy finish. Consumers may choose from five different sizes packaged in mazos of 25: Robusto (4 1/2" x 52); Toro (6" x 50); Perfecto (5 3/4" x 54); Churchill (6 7/8" x 48) and Torpedo (6" x 54) with retail prices per cigar ranging from $3.50 to $4.90. Tobacconists will display the Cantero^® in a personalized, laser engraved cigar tray made of Spanish cedar (24" x 5" x 9").
